THE COMPANY UNDERTAKES

  1. To deliver and install the Hire Goods on or before the commencement of the Use Period stated on the invoice.
  2. Although every effort is made to keep installation and collection days to what is stated on the invoice; in times of high demand or due to specific weather conditions, Instant Shelter Hire may need to install the shelter up to a few days before the event, likewise with collection.

THE CLIENT UNDERTAKES

  1. To follow the booking procedure and payment terms. A booking is not secure until an invoice has been paid.
  2. A pre-event survey ensures we are liable for all problems that may occur on the day. If this survey is not undertaken and for any reason the shelter cannot be installed on the day, we are not responsible for any problems that should occur including being unable to install, and NO REFUND will be given.
  3. The customer is responsible for checking the product(s) after installation for any possible damage. By accepting the completion of installation the customer agrees Instant Shelter Hire has installed the product(s) safely and securely. Once the product(s) have been installed, the customer is fully liable for all costs of any damaged, lost or stolen product(s) until collection by Instant Shelter Hire.
  4. It is your responsibility to determine the weather during the period that the shelter is being used. Instant shelter Hire is not responsible or liable for any loss or injuries caused in the event of bad weather.
  5. Fires and smoking are not permitted within or near the shelter; any damage due to smoking will be charged in full.
  6. Please do not attempt to adjust or move shelters and equipment installed by Instant Shelter Hire.
  7. Instant Shelter Hire will not be held liable for any breakages, injuries or loss.
  8. Instant Shelter Hire tables and chairs do not come with table cloths or chair covers; these can be purchased at a reasonable price from your local party shop. We do however, upon collection, expect our tables and chairs to be left in a clean state and in the same condition they were when delivered.
  9. Permanent soiling or staining will be classed as damage and result in the panel or part being charged in full to the customer.
  10. Please ensure that the area is clear and ready for installation before arrival.
  11. Please ensure you remove and clear all decorations and equipment that does not belong to Instant Shelter Hire from the shelter, leaving it ready for collection.
  12. All red pins/parts should not be touched for any reason. Doing so can damage the equipment and cause injury. Instant Shelter Hire will not be held liable for any injury, loss or damage that may occur due to red pins being pulled.
  13. We use 3kW electric heaters and associated equipment of a very high standard. Every effort is made to ensure that the heaters, wiring, RCDs and plugs are as safe as possible by Instant Shelter Hire. However, it is the customers reasonability to ensure correct usage and, that all safety checks are regularly carried out. Some things to look out for is repeat tripping of our RCDs or the fuse box in your property and/or plugs getting hot. Instant Shelter Hire is not responsible or liable for any loss or injury caused in the event of heater failure or damage.

CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT

  1. Once full payment has been made, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. If for any reason you need to cancel your shelter, you must do so 7 days before the shelter is due to arrive for installation to receive an 80 percent refund. We do NOT offer refunds if you cancel within 7 days before the shelter is due to arrive for installation.

UTILITIES

  1. It is your responsibility to inform us of any underground utilities and provide us with a site map. If whilst installing the shelter, damage is caused to the underground utilities, you will be responsible for any costs to the appropriate place.

DAMAGE WAIVER

  1. Shelter and equipment hire damage waiver insurance provides you with indemnity against the cost of any repairs to the marquee structures and hired equipment if they are accidentally damaged during the hire period.
  2. It is standard practice that the customer is held fully responsible for all damage to hired equipment throughout the duration of hire. It is imperative that our quality shelters and equipment are fully insured during the period of hire as they are extremely expensive products.
  3. As a cost effective and convenient alternative to arranging your own insurance, we have an optional Damage Waiver Fee, amounting to 9% of the total invoice amount and in doing so Instant Shelter Hire take full responsibility for the risk of accidental damage to the equipment during the hire period.
  4. Our damage waiver fee does NOT cover event cancellation, Theft, Loss, Public or Employers’ Liability or any liability other than accidental damage to our tents and equipment.
  5. By paying the Damage Waiver Fee of 9% of the total invoice amount our customers do not have to take out separate insurance to cover damage to our shelters or equipment.
  6. All our customers are responsible for the first £400.00 excess of accidental damage to the hired equipment.
  7. The customer is responsible for all lost or damage, resulting from wilful neglect or legal liability. The reason for this is because no insurance policy (customers or ours) would cover this.
  8. The customer is responsible for adhering to any special security arrangements that have been agreed, e.g. the shelter and equipment being left un-attended in a public space. The customer will be entirely responsible for loss or damage to the equipment, resulting from failure to adhere to any special security arrangements. This is since no insurance policy (customers or ours) would cover this; insurance companies view it as negligence.
  9. Reasonable care must be taken at all times to ensure damage is accidental and all other terms must met.
